#  BBS Alum, Cammi Valdez, Named Recipient of Presidential Award

The Biden Administration honored scientists and engineers across the country, including two Harvard Griffin GSAS alums Cammi Valdez, PhD ’14, and Nicholas Hutzler, PhD ’14.   
  
**Cammi Valdez** is a recipient of the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Science, Mathematics and Engineering Mentoring (PAESMEM). Valdez is a vascular biologist, Northeastern State University faculty member, and champion of making STEM accessible.
